Digitalagritech

Agritechnology covers a host of technologies such as chemicals, genetics, and synthetic biology. Digital agritechnology is about the sensing and control we can now apply in many fields and we can do this to reduce energy and pollution by better monitoring of inputs and outputs. As an engineer I am just fascinated by robots, sensors, drones, field machines, satellites and the application of data to better manage our food production from plants, animals and fungi.

I am now focusing on writing and consultancy about digital agritechnology

You can visit the business I developed www.ecow.co.uk which sells rumen telemetry systems and www.milkalyser.com which is developing inline milk analysis which is now part of the Lely group of companies and Virtual Vet which helps farms record their antimicrobial treatments.
